As part of the New Covenant, we know that as long as the stars are in the sky, Israel will be a nation (Jeremiah 31:31-36).

May 12, 2010 will be the first Capital District Community Commemoration of Yom Yerushalayim, Jerusalem Day...the remembrance of the return of the city of Jerusalem to the Jewish people.  There will be an Israeli Heroes Dinner (RSVP only), a rally for the peace of Jerusalem and a Unity Celebration of Jerusalem, a "sights and sounds" creative, interactive taste of Jerusalem that you will not want to miss, especially if you've never been there!
